Delete your account
How to delete your Sunday account, what happens to your data, and how to change your mind within 30 days.
Delete from the app
- Open Sunday and sign in.
- Tap your profile picture (You) in the bottom bar.
- Tap ⚙️ Account settings.
- Scroll down to Leaving and tap Delete my account.
- If you want, tell us why you’re leaving. This is optional.
- Tap Delete my account to confirm. If you signed in with Apple, you’ll be asked to confirm with Apple too.
Can’t use the app?
You can ask us to delete your account by email instead.
Email post.sundaycircle@gmail.com with the subject Delete my account. Send it from the email address on your account, or include the phone number you signed in with, so we can find it.
We’ll delete your account and its data within 30 days of your request.
What happens next

Right away
Your profile, matches, messages and events disappear. Nobody can see you anywhere in Sunday, and you stop getting notifications.

For 30 days
You can change your mind. Sign in and go to Account settings → Restore my account. The app shows the exact date your window closes.

After 30 days
Your account and its data are permanently deleted.

Backups
Deleted data can stay in our encrypted backups for a limited time until they expire. It isn’t used for anything during that time.
Subscriptions
Bought through Google Play
We cancel it for you before the final delete.
Bought through the App Store
Apple doesn’t let us cancel it for you, so deleting your account won’t stop the charges. Cancel it in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
The app also gives you a Cancel in App Store button after you delete.
Want a copy of your data first?
Before you delete, go to Account settings → Your data → Download your data.
