2. Who can use Sunday

3.2 Location information

Sunday may use approximate or precise location, depending on the permissions you grant and the features you use. Location may help show people within your discovery radius, display local events, estimate distance, and provide location-based recommendations.

Design commitment: Sunday should display approximate distance or an appropriate location area rather than a member’s exact live location. We will not intentionally expose precise location to other members unless a specific feature clearly explains this and you choose to use it.

3.3 Device and usage information

4. How we use your information

• Create and manage your account.

We will not use personal information for purposes incompatible with those explained to you without an appropriate legal basis or consent where required.

5. Your profile and what other members can see

Depending on your settings and the features available, other members may see your display name, profile photographs, age or age range, biography, interests, languages, profile answers, general location or approximate distance, and other profile details you choose to display.

When you send a connection request, compliment, or message, the recipient can see information necessary to receive and understand that interaction. Do not include your home address, financial information, passwords, or other sensitive details in your public profile.

Blocking or unmatching may prevent future interactions, but cannot guarantee that someone has not already saved, photographed, or copied information they previously saw.

6. Messages and conversations

Sunday processes conversation information to deliver messages, maintain the service, respond to reports, and enforce our policies.

If a member reports a conversation, information submitted with the report may be reviewed by authorised moderation personnel. Access to conversations should otherwise be restricted to authorised personnel and limited to legitimate operational, safety, or legal purposes.

We may retain relevant information for a limited period to investigate abuse, enforce our Terms, or comply with legal obligations.

7. Events and offline experiences

Sunday may organise or facilitate chai meetups, run clubs, group activities, and other in-person experiences. Depending on the event, we may process registration, ticket, attendance, and contact information.

Where necessary, relevant information may be shared with event organisers, venues, ticketing providers, or service providers to administer the event. We will explain what information is shared and why when you register, particularly where an event is hosted by an independent organiser.

We will not make your dating profile or private conversations available to an event organiser simply because you register for an event.

8. Subscriptions and payments

Sunday may offer free and paid features, including daily, weekly, monthly, or annual subscription plans. Payments may be processed by Apple, Google, or other authorised payment providers.

These providers may process transaction information under their own privacy policies and terms. We may receive purchase confirmations, subscription status, transaction identifiers, and related information necessary to activate your subscription, handle billing enquiries, and prevent fraud.

Deleting your Sunday account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription. You may need to cancel it through the relevant app store or payment provider.

9. When we share information

We do not sell personal information as a standalone commercial product. We may share information with:

• Other members: information displayed through your profile and interactions.
• Service providers: hosting, cloud storage, analytics, customer support, communications, security, and payment services.
• Event organisers: limited registration or attendance information needed to operate an event.
• Professional advisers: lawyers, auditors, accountants, and other advisers where necessary.
• Authorities: where disclosure is required by applicable law, valid legal process, or necessary to address an urgent safety concern.
• Business successors: in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer, subject to applicable law.

We require appropriate safeguards from service providers handling personal information on our behalf.

10. Advertising and analytics

Sunday may use analytics tools to understand product usage, improve the experience, and measure marketing performance. If we use advertising SDKs, attribution tools, or third-party tracking technologies, we will disclose the relevant categories of information and provide choices or consent mechanisms where required.

We will not provide advertisers with private conversations or unrestricted access to personal profiles.

11. Data retention

13. Account deletion

You may request account deletion through the app, where available, or by contacting us. Upon receiving a valid request, we will take appropriate steps to deactivate your account and delete or anonymise associated personal information, subject to legal retention requirements and legitimate safety needs.

Deleting the app from your phone does not itself delete your Sunday account.

14. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse. These should include access controls, secure authentication, appropriate encryption, backups, monitoring, and restricted access to sensitive systems.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs, we will investigate, mitigate harm, and provide notifications as required by applicable law.

15. International data transfers

Some service providers may process information outside India. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we will comply with applicable Indian law and relevant restrictions or safeguards.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Sunday, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use Sunday.

Features may change, be temporarily unavailable, or be discontinued as the service evolves. Sunday does not guarantee likes, matches, replies, dates, friendships, relationships, or event invitations.

5. Member conduct

You must follow the Sunday Community Guidelines. You must not:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate another person.
• Engage in fraud, impersonation, scams, or extortion.
• Share another person’s private information without permission.
• Upload illegal, infringing, abusive, or sexually exploitative content.
• Use Sunday to solicit money, sell services, or conduct unauthorised promotions.
• Scrape profiles, collect member data, or use bots without permission.
• Circumvent blocks, suspensions, or other safety measures.
• Use Sunday to facilitate illegal activity.

You are responsible for the content you upload and the communications you initiate.

6. User content and licence

You retain ownership of content you create and upload, subject to the rights of others. By uploading content, you grant Sunday a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute it as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service.

This licence is limited to those purposes and the purposes described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload the content. We may remove content that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

7. Safety and user interactions

Sunday provides tools to help people discover and communicate with each other. We do not guarantee the identity, intentions, conduct, or background of every member. You are responsible for exercising judgement when interacting with others.

• Keep initial meetings in public places.
• Tell a trusted person where you are going.
• Arrange your own transport.
• Avoid sharing financial details or sensitive personal information.
• Leave an interaction if you feel uncomfortable.
• Report suspicious or harmful conduct.

Blocking, reporting, verification, and moderation tools can reduce certain risks but cannot eliminate them.

8. Offline events

Sunday may organise its own events or provide tools through which third-party organisers create or promote events. Each event listing should identify, where applicable, the organiser, venue and location, date and time, ticket price and fees, eligibility requirements, cancellation and refund terms, and safety instructions.

8.1 Events organised by Sunday

Where Sunday is the organiser, we will provide event-specific information and applicable cancellation or refund terms.

8.2 Events organised by third parties

Where an independent organiser is responsible for an event, that organiser is responsible for delivering the event as described, subject to applicable law and disclosed terms. Sunday may provide registration, discovery, communications, or payment tools without being the event organiser. The responsible organiser must be clear to participants before ticket purchase.

8.3 Event participation

You agree to follow venue rules, event instructions, applicable laws, and directions of authorised event staff. We may refuse admission or remove a participant for harassment, unsafe conduct, intoxication that creates a safety concern, disruption, or other serious policy violations, subject to applicable law.

8.4 Event cancellations

If an event is cancelled, rescheduled, or materially changed, the applicable event terms will explain available options. Refunds will be handled according to disclosed policy and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Subscriptions and payments

Sunday may offer free and paid access.

The price, duration, included features, renewal terms, and applicable taxes will be shown before purchase.

9.1 Subscription benefits

Paid subscriptions may unlock additional features, such as enhanced discovery, additional interactions, advanced filters, or other benefits described at purchase. We may change subscription features prospectively, subject to applicable law and commitments already made.

9.2 Billing and renewal

Subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google are subject to the relevant store’s billing and subscription rules. If a plan renews automatically, the renewal frequency, amount, and cancellation method must be clearly disclosed before purchase.

9.3 Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a subscription using the payment channel through which it was purchased. Cancellation generally stops future renewals; it does not necessarily refund a payment already made or immediately end access to a paid period.

Refund requests will be handled under the applicable store or payment provider rules, Sunday’s disclosed refund policy, and applicable law. Where Sunday charges directly, we will provide an appropriate process for cancellation, billing complaints, and eligible refunds.

9.4 Promotions

Discounts, promotional codes, free trials, and other offers may have additional conditions. We may withdraw an offer where permitted by law, but will honour valid purchases and existing contractual commitments.

10. Verification and moderation

Sunday may use automated tools and human review to detect fake profiles, scams, harassment, and policy violations. We may request verification, restrict features, remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to protect members, enforce these Terms, or comply with law.

Verification does not guarantee that a member is safe, truthful, or suitable to meet. Where appropriate, we may provide an opportunity to appeal a moderation decision.

11. Intellectual property

Sunday and its associated branding, software, design, logos, and original materials are owned by or licensed to Sunday. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit these materials except as permitted by law or with our written permission. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Sunday’s intellectual property to you.

12. Third-party services

Sunday may integrate with third-party services, including app stores, payment providers, maps, analytics services, and event venues. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services to the extent their conduct is outside our reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Sunday at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines, present a credible safety or security risk, are reasonably suspected of fraud, impersonation, or illegal activity, we are required to do so by law, or we discontinue the service.

Where appropriate, we may notify you of the reason and provide an appeal mechanism. Termination does not automatically cancel subscriptions purchased through an app store. You remain responsible for cancelling any applicable recurring subscription.

14. Disclaimers

Sunday is provided on an “as available” basis, subject to applicable law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, a particular number of members, successful matches, or successful offline interactions.

Sunday is not a background-verification service, emergency service, medical service, or guarantee of personal safety. Nothing in these Terms excludes a statutory consumer right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sunday will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service where such exclusion is legally permitted. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Nothing in this section removes rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.

16. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for losses or claims arising from your unlawful conduct, infringement of third-party rights, or material breach of these Terms. This provision does not require you to indemnify Sunday for losses caused by Sunday’s own unlawful conduct or liability that cannot legally be transferred to you.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We will publish the updated version and provide notice of material changes where appropriate or required by law. If a change requires your consent, we will obtain it before applying the change to you.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable consumer protection and other mandatory legal rights. Disputes will be handled by courts or other forums having jurisdiction under applicable law.

1. Be yourself

Sunday works when people can trust the person behind a profile.

• Use your real identity and accurate age.
• Upload recent photographs that represent you.
• Do not impersonate another person.
• Do not create fake profiles or duplicate accounts to mislead people.
• Do not misrepresent your relationship status or intentions in a deceptive way.
• Do not use AI-generated or manipulated images to impersonate a real person or mislead other members.

Creative photography and AI-assisted editing are acceptable when the result does not materially misrepresent your identity.

2. Respect boundaries

Interest must be mutual.

• Accept that someone may not be interested in you.
• Do not repeatedly send requests after being declined.
• Do not continue contacting someone who has blocked or unmatched you.
• Do not pressure someone into a date, conversation, relationship, or physical interaction.
• Do not demand explanations for rejection.
• Do not use another account to get around someone’s decision to disengage.

A connection request, like, match, or conversation is not consent to physical intimacy.

3. Consent matters

Consent must be freely given, specific, and ongoing. We do not tolerate sexual coercion or pressure, unwanted sexual messages or images, non-consensual physical contact, threats or blackmail, attempts to exploit someone unable to consent, or sharing intimate images without the subject’s consent.

Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

4. No harassment or hate

Treat other members with dignity, even when you disagree or are not interested. We do not allow:

• Bullying, threats, and intimidation.
• Sexual harassment.
• Stalking, including repeated unwanted offline contact.
• Hate speech or targeted abuse.
• Slurs or degrading attacks based on personal characteristics.
• Encouraging violence or discrimination.
• Publishing someone’s private information to shame, threaten, or expose them.

Differences in language, culture, background, appearance, or personal preferences are not a reason to abuse another member.

5. Keep profiles and conversations appropriate

Sunday is an adult dating and social platform, but not every type of content is acceptable. We do not allow:

• Sexual exploitation or content involving minors.
• Non-consensual intimate content.
• Explicit sexual imagery in profile areas.
• Threatening or graphic violent content.
• Content that promotes illegal activity.
• Copyrighted photographs or material you do not have permission to use.
• Private information belonging to another person.

Do not share another member’s messages, photographs, or identifying details outside Sunday without their permission, except where disclosure is necessary for safety, reporting, or lawful purposes.

6. No scams, fraud, or financial exploitation

Never use Sunday to manipulate people for money or personal gain. We do not allow:

• Romance scams and fraudulent investment schemes.
• Requests for loans or emergency payments under false pretences.
• Cryptocurrency, trading, or financial scams.
• Impersonation of celebrities, public figures, or professionals.
• Phishing links and attempts to steal login credentials.
• Fake ticket sales or fraudulent event listings.
• Commercial solicitation without permission.

Be especially cautious if someone quickly asks you to transfer money, invest, share an OTP, or move a conversation to another platform for suspicious reasons.

7. Protect personal information

Do not post or request another member’s home address or live location, phone number or private email without permission, financial information or identity documents, private conversations or intimate photographs, or account credentials and authentication codes.

Do not attempt to identify, track, or locate a member outside the information they have chosen to share.

8. Use location features responsibly

Location features help members discover people and events nearby. Do not use them to stalk, monitor, or confront another member. Do not show up unexpectedly at someone’s home, workplace, or other private location based on information obtained through Sunday. If you meet someone, agree on the location together.

9. Make offline events welcoming

Sunday events are intended to help people meet in a comfortable, respectful environment. All attendees must:

• Follow the event description and organiser instructions.
• Respect personal boundaries.
• Ask before photographing or recording other attendees.
• Avoid unwanted physical contact.
• Respect venue staff and other participants.
• Avoid discriminatory or disruptive conduct.
• Follow applicable safety requirements.

9.1 Photography and recording

Do not photograph, record, or publish identifiable images of other attendees without appropriate permission, especially where an event is presented as private or attendees have requested not to be photographed. Organisers should communicate planned photography or promotional recording in advance.

9.2 Alcohol and substances

Follow the event’s stated rules and applicable law. Do not pressure anyone to consume alcohol or other substances. Do not engage in threatening, aggressive, or unsafe conduct while intoxicated.

9.3 Organiser responsibilities

Organisers must provide accurate event information, respect attendee privacy, follow applicable laws, and respond appropriately to safety concerns. Organisers must not use attendee information for unrelated marketing without an appropriate legal basis and consent where required.

10. No misuse of Sunday

Do not use bots or automated tools to manipulate interactions; scrape member profiles or collect data at scale; circumvent subscription restrictions or payment systems; create accounts to evade a ban; falsely report members to harass them; manipulate reviews, event attendance, or verification; or recruit members into unrelated schemes or groups without permission.

11. Reporting a concern

If you experience or witness behaviour that violates these guidelines:

• Use the in-app report feature, where available.
• Include relevant details and evidence.
• Block the person if you do not want further contact.
• Contact post.sundaycircle@gmail.com if you need additional assistance.

For immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Sunday is not an emergency-response service.

12. How Sunday may respond

Depending on the seriousness and frequency of the conduct, we may issue a warning, remove content, restrict features, require additional verification, temporarily suspend an account, permanently ban an account, remove an organiser or cancel an event, preserve relevant records, or refer matters to authorities where legally appropriate.

Serious conduct—including credible threats, sexual exploitation, stalking, fraud, or non-consensual intimate content—may result in immediate suspension or removal. We may consider context, evidence, prior violations, and risk to other members. Where appropriate, members may appeal by contacting support.

13. Our commitment

Sunday aims to create a community where people can meet without being pressured, deceived, or harassed. We cannot guarantee that every member will behave appropriately, but we will provide reasonable tools and processes to help members report harmful behaviour and to enforce these guidelines.
